Bright but cold this morning, 4+ Purple Sands and 5 Turnstone along the front, a Stonechat on the fence at the end of the boardwalk and the Dartford Warbler in the reeds and small bramble at the southern end of the Blue-throat trail. Nothing seen offshore today.
From the hide: 2 Mute Swan were heavy enough to break the ice on frozen scrape and a few ducks were on Leon's marsh, most of the birds were on the scrape behind the sewage works and difficult to see but 10 Greylag, c100 Wigeon, c100 Teal, 8 Shoveler, 2 Shelduck were noted, c 80 Lapwing were up on the arable.
