13:04 Fairly quiet but a good walk nevertheless. Added 3 to the site year list, Sanderling, Reed Bunting and Sparrowhawk, with a few additions to my list. Geese were behind the raised platform and difficult to view, but could see at least 1 White front.5 Purples and Turnstone along the wall,1 Stonechat, couple of Red throats and plenty of Cormorants moving offshore.

Amazingly went all 2021 without seeing one and by the 3rd Jan it’s on my list.

15:40 In addition to PL’s sightings this morning. 2 Peregrines on the arable, 5 Whitefronts with Greylags behind raised platform, 2 Little Grebe in brook, 2 Avocet still on scrape alongside 276 Teal, c100 Wigeon, 14 Shoveler, 10+ Shelduck.
