I had a very short visit this morning and again it was a beautiful weather. 5 Turnstone were on the seawall beside the sluice and c40 Red T Divers were moving around offshore.
A look over the marsh from the pillbox showed that the Greylags were again behind the sewage works and at least 3 White-fronts were with them, also in that area were lots of Teal & Wigeon + loads of gulls. c100 Lapwing were on the arable, 11 Snipe & 2 Curlew on the marsh right of the scrape, while on the scrape were a few Teal, Wigeon & Mallard, 2 Avocet, 2 BlkWits, 2 Grey Heron, also noted were 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel & a Marsh Harrier that upset things a bit as it passed over the scrape and out toward Gt. Holland. MR
