A quick visit this morning with my grandson paid dividends with a late year tick for me of Red-legged Partridge, otherwise much the same, no sign of yesterdays Ruff but Avocet were up to 28 and Gadwall 5+.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, 150+ Wigeon, 60+ Teal, 30+ Shoveler, 8 Shelduck, 6 Mallard, 5+ Gadwall, c60 Lapwing, c40 Curlew, 28 Avocet, 12 Blk T Godwits, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Snipe, 30+ Blk H Gulls, 3 Common Gulls, 1 Med Gull, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 2 R L Partridge. Plus 1 Lt. Egret on the approach road marsh.
