Three new birds for the site year list today with a Coot for Richard on the brook over the road first thing, a Swallow heading north over the hide as we left and a Wheatear for Liz in the afternoon.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, c150 Wigeon, c60 Teal, 30+ Shoveler, c20 Shelduck, 8 Mallard, c30 Lapwing, c20 Curlew, 12 Avocet, 8 Blk T Godwit, 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Heron, Blk H Gulls, 3 Common Gulls, 1 LBB, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Swallow. RJ/MO'H/MR

A Chiffchaff was in the sewage works hedge on the way back to the cars.
