Fri 4th Apr 25

Much quieter around the site this morning, Mike and I covered the south end with very little reward just a few Chiffchaff and Cetti's Warblers singing. No sign of the Yellow Wags from the hide but a brief view of a Water Pipit was a bonus before it disappeared behind the island, Avocet numbers were up, otherwise much the same

From the hide: 6 Greylag, 5 Canada Geese, 22 Teal, 17 Shelduck, 10 Wigeon, 8 Mallard, 7 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 1 Lt. Egret, 1 Grey Heron,  34 Avocet, 14 Lapwing, 9 Blk T Godwit, 4 Redshank, 1 Water Pipit, Reed Bunting, Meadow Pipit, Linnet, Cetti's Warbler, 2 Grey Wagtails, 4+ Pied Wagtails (incl. at least 1 White Wag). DC/MO'H/MR et.al.
