A  walk around the site this morning was very pleasant with warm temperatures and a gentle breeze, several more Whitethroats singing along with Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Cetti's Warblers, Song Thrush etc. also more butterflies on the wing with seven species seen.

From the hide: Canada Geese, 26 Shelduck, 20 Teal, 8 Mallard, 7 Shoveler, 4 Gadwall, 15 Avocet, 10+ Lapwing, 4 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Blk T Godwits, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Lt. Egret, 6+ Swallows, 2 Sand Martin, 2 Pied Wags, 2 Med Gulls, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler. PL/MR.
