08:55 Blue-headed Wag still to north of hide though elusive in tall grass + 2 Grey Wag, 1 White Wag.

Walk from Frinton to Haven and back via the farm this morning included: 1 blue-headed wagtail (lovely though furtive), 1 white wag (also on flood to north of hide), 2 grey wag  (Leon’s marsh), 9 pied wag, 39 Mediterranean gull (36 adults on golf course first thing, mainly paired up), 5 chiff (singing), 2 blackcap (singing), 28 linnet (15 north first thing in three groups may have been passage birds), 3 corn bunting (1 singing), 1 peregrine, 5 Cetti’s (singing), 5 reed bunting, 1 purple sandpiper, 26 curlew (on golf course first thing), 5 oystercatcher, 20 avocet, 9 black-tailed godwit, 2 green woodpecker, 1 greenfinch, 1 grey heron, 3 buzzard, 3 hare.
