Had a very pleasant walk around the site with the BIG County Birdwatch 70 group this morning and a sea-watch prior to the walk gave a few good birds inc. Arctic Skua, Gannet, Common Scoter & a lot of Brent Geese. Birds on the walk included Whinchat, Bar-tailed Godwit and a Sparrowhawk in the hand (one of the birds from a ringing session by Simon & Pat Cox). A total of 73 species were noted by the group during the morning walk.

Bonxie N, Gannet N, 2 Sandwich Tern N. 40+ Wigeon S, 13+ Brent S, 20+ Teal S, Marsh Harrier S, Kestrel S, 3 Com Scoter s + Com Gull.
15:11 Little Owl flushed from hedge at back of golf course, also Red-legged Partridge, Rook, House Martin and Corn Bunting around farm/fields.
