Mon 16th Sept 19
No sign of the Red-backed Shrike this morning, but after eight days of feasting it has entertained many people and would have to move on sometime.
The rest of the site to the sewage works held 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 6+ Blackcap + Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat and Green Woodpecker.
No reports of anything new from the scrape this morning, so much the same I would think.
Bird of the day was this Kingfisher part of a ringing session in the reed bed first thing, more details on the Ringing Page.
