Water Rail (briefly in reeds at back of scrape) also 10+ Blackwit, 2 Snipe, 3 Avocet, 2 Lt. Egret, Beardies (heard), Kingfisher. 
Bushes - 20+ Chiff and Blackcap, 6 Goldcrest, 1 Willow Warbler,  4 Lesser Whitethroat, Song Thrush.
Sandwich Tern offshore, Swallows, House Martins and few Sand Martins, with few Mipits and single Chaffinch south overhead.

17:45-19:50
Little Owl (first tree n of golf course on footpath), 250+ Mipits, c50 Linnet, 3 Skylark in farm fields. 6 Stonechat, Common Sand and Barn Owl other highlights.



From the hide this morning :- 200 Greylag, 7 Canada Geese, 50 Teal, 2 Lt. Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 112 Lapwing, 22 Curlew, 3 Avocet, 2 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 2 Kingfishers, 1 Stonechat. PRD/DW/MR

Pete Davis had a walk to the Frinton end of site and added 10+ Stonechat, 3 Wheatear, 1 Whinchat, c50 Meadow Pipits and 2 Dunlin on the rock breakwater.
