Very quiet around the site this morning, the only excitement was finding that the pair of Canada Geese on the island had just a single gosling and the aggravation that followed when first 3 more adult landed on the pond and a few minutes later two more on the scrape.

The scrape was much the same as of late with 14 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, 32 Avocet, 4 Lapwing, 3 Redshank, 3 Oystercatcher and 14 Whimbrel were on the approach road marsh. DW/DC/MR.
