13:27 The Coot put in an appearance over the road this morning, a Haven rarity nowadays. Several Wheatear were about, 2 Farm, 2 over the road, 2 Golf Course and 4 in wooden hide area. Several Swift were noted and 6 House Martin around site. Plenty of all the usual migrants showing well today in the better conditions. 1 Sandwich Tern offshore. Butterfly front 1 think Red Admiral was a new for year.
No further sign of Golden Oriole at Naze today despite extensive search. Popped into farm on way home, 2 Wheatear in paddocks and Mistle Thrush still. Nothing ‘new’ on main site this evening but loosing light and temperature.
