Good to see a Little Stint on the scrape this morning with Pete & Pete (see PL's report below), and another great ringing session for Simon & Pat (see Ringing page).

08:03 Only a brief foray into the haven boundaries this morning- overhead passage 4 Yellow Wag (again a good passage generally today), 6 Mipit, 4 Swallow, 6 House Martin and a Wheatear.   2 Chiffs part of a general increase today.

12:31 6+ Blackcap around the bushes this morning with 2 Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, 2 Chiffchaff and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. Scrape, 1 Little Stint, 2 Green Sand, 3 Ruff, 8 Avocets, 2 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 7 Blackwits, 2 Curlew, 2 Shoveler, 20 Teal and an adult Med Gull.(MR,PD,PL).

17:36 EBwS field trip to Naze and Holland Haven. Naze: Fem Eider, GW Egret, 2 Tree Pipit and 2 Merlin. Haven: Little Stint, 2 Green Sand, 2 Med Gulls, 16 Buzzard over fields west of scrape, 2 Stonechat, Kingfisher along Brook.
