A Gt. White Egret flew along the marsh below the carpark before landing for a short while in the short ditch north of the approach road, after a few minutes it continued on it's way over the road and was lost to view.
From the hide: c30 Teal, 9 Wigeon, 2 Mallard, 94 Lapwing, 2 Blk T Godwit, 1 Ruff, 1 Avocet, 4 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Lt. Grebe, 350 ++ Blk. H Gulls, 6 Herring Gulls, 1 Common Gull, 2 Buzzard, 1 Peregrine, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, lots of Swallows + a few House Martin, 10 Red-legged Partridge were up on the arable.
