11:23 Got scope out, bird I thought might be Shag was a Guillemot.

11:02 Quiet wander Frinton to northern pillbox and back. Dribble of Mipit, Swallow and House Martin following good passage earlier. Offshore south - 2 Brent, 3 Wigeon, 2 Gannet, north - Sandwich Tern and a close auk that I got into late but looked like a guille.

14:22 Haven this morning, Scrape, 1 Little Stint, 8 Dunlin, 1 Ruff, 3 Blackwit, 1 Common Sand, 4 Wigeon, 2 Curlew, 1 Spoonbill. From pillbox 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Hobby, 23 Siskin, 1 Adult Gannet very close in. Quite a few House Martin and Swallow moving through. 2 Turnstone along seawall plus a couple of small groups of Teal, 13 Wigeon & 2 Sandwich Tern offshore. 2 Wheatear. Razorbill very close offshore by northern pillbox and later, still feeding just off the beach down past the sluice. juvenile Shag on the Sluice rocks plus Kingfisher.(RJ,DC,PL).
