Simon & Pat had a good morning ringing 6 Bearded Tits & 5 Less. Redpoll during their time in the reed bed (see Ringing page). Unfortunately we couldn't find them on a walk to the end of the boardwalk. 2 Purple Sandpipers & 3 Turnstone were on the sluice rocks with a large gull flock inc. 20+ GBB's & 5+ Stonechat were noted on our wander. 

From the hide:   

7 Mute Swans, 10 Shelduck, 3 Wigeon, 26 Lapwing, 2 Snipe, 1 Peregrine (on the arable), 1 Kestrel.

On the return to the carpark 2 Goldcrests were near the 5 bar gate. DC/MR
