Had a quick walk at the Haven this afternoon after a delayed WeBS count, a Purple Sandpiper was showing well on the seawall and 5 Turnstone were on the sluice rocks, scanning the scrape from the pillbox gave just 6 Shelduck, 3 Wigeon and a Lt. Egret, all that could put up with the constant bangs from the gas gun in the winter wheat field. A Stonechat was along the hedge between the pillbox and the moth sanctuary.
