Of note on the sluice rocks this morning were 22+ Gt. Blk-backed Gulls with the Herring and Blk Headed and 6+ Turnstone.
Heading to the hide first today worked out well as all the birds I wanted to check out came to me.
From the hide:
7 Mute Swans, c100 Greylag, 85 Teal, 13 Wigeon, 10 Shelduck, 6 Shoveler, c80 Lapwing, 5 Snipe, 5 Curlew, 2 Bearded Tit, 1 Dartford Warbler, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 5 Stonechat, 1 Water Rail (heard only), Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Chaffinch & Robin, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Kestrel, 1 S.E. Owl.

Quick visit late afternoon to get more views of the Short-eared Owl added 3 Purple Sands with the Turnstone on the sluice rocks and 22+ Snipe on the scrape (yes twenty two).
