12:46 Just a recap of my sightings this morning. Started over the road with a Cuckoo, 2 Whitethroats, Tufted and Gadwall on the brook and 6 Curlew on the marsh. 15 Whimbrel were on the entrance marsh. Around the bushes were the Redstart, Lesser Whitethroat, several Whitethroats & Blackcaps and a couple of Chiffs. A short seawatch produced a distant Sandwich Tern, 3 Common Scoter, 1 Whimbrel and 1 Curlew. Didn’t make it to the Scrape today, but I gather there was little change.
