Fri 6th Aug 21

This morning the Avocets were still having a go at everything although most of the young are quite a size, hopefully not for much longer. The two juv. Peregrines were sitting up on the stubble field again and the single Common Sand we had watched for most of the morning was joined by 3 others for a few moments before they returned to the back of the island not to be seen again. DC/MR

On the Scrape: 5 Shelduck (2+ 3juvs), c20 Teal, 6 Cormorant, Avocets, 5 Lapwing, 4 Common Sands, 2 Redshank, 1 Blk. T Godwit, c30 Blk. H Gulls (inc. several juvs. & 2 Chicks), Herring Gulls, 1 LBB Gull, 2 Peregrine, 1 Kestrel, c25 Swift, & a few Swallows. A Corn Bunting was noted along the back hedge DC.
