Reports from today:
Paul Brayshaw
10:28 Seawall run through the site produced a decent early autumn Swallow passage to the south (123+ in site - including a lovely group of 60+ over the sea and (hopefully) excluding the birds over the site - (interesting to see the turnover from Simon and Pat’s ringing) - the swallow passage much more obvious eg at Frinton where no loiterers…. Only picked out 12 Sand Martins. On the rocks were two Turnstone, 9 Whimbrel (which then flew to golf course), at least 4 Common Sands (but could have been twice as many) whilst single Barwit and Curlew flew south close inshore.
