Around the scrape this morning were c10 Avocet, 6 Lapwing, 3 Common Sands, 3 Redshank, 2 Blk. T. Godwits, 2 Snipe (first thing PRD/DC), 1 Wood Sand, 1 Green Sand, 1 Dunlin, 5 Shelduck, Teal (several but mostly hidden), 2 Shoveler, 6 Cormorant, c20 Swallow, c20 Sand Martin, Blk. Headed & Herring Gulls, 1 LBB, 2 Peregrine (juvs), 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Buzzard. Also noted was a prob. Water Rail (juv) seen very briefly at the back of the scrape. PRD/DC/MR.

09:25 Haven early morning in rain - Wood Sand (flew around calling @ 6:50 but seems to come back in and land), 2 Common Sand, Blackwit, c40 Teal and 2 Shoveler (1st of autumn for me) on scrape.

09:30 And a Dunlin.

21:07 Haven this evening - Wood Sand, Common Sand, Blackwit, Dunlin and lots of Teal on scrape. Not much offshore but probably too late.
