12:58 Frinton to Haven and back via farm this morning included: 1 Garganey, 1 Firecrest, 3 Red Kite, 6 Cetti’s (singing), 6 Med Gull, 24 Linnet, 5 Reed Bunting, 2 Song Thrush (singing), 3 Sparrowhawk (2 drifted north), 6 Chiff (singing), 1 Green Woodpecker, 7 Swallow (2 at the farm and 5 south), 1 Blackcap (singing), 2 Tufted Duck, 41 Teal, 46 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon, 10 Avocet, 4 Gadwall, 5 Mipit, 2 Buzzard

15:26 Good day at the Haven. Approach road, 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap singing, lots of Chiffs around site. 4 Cetti’s, 2 seen. Scrape hide, Drake Garganey, 45 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon, 40 Teal, 6 Gadwall, 2 Tufted Duck, Red Kite, 5 Swallows, 23 Curlew, 2 Blackwit, 11 Avocet, 12 Shelduck. Farm paddocks, 2 White Wagtail, pair of Coal Tit, 2 Swallow & 2 Corn Bunting. Rounding off with 1 Drake and 2 female Eider flying past close offshore .(RJ, PL)
