Thurs 20th Apr 23

Richard started the day with a nice Yellow Wagtail over the road and good views of the Cetti's Warbler.

My walk along the approach road added several Chiffchaffs plus a Blackcap and my first Willow Warbler of the year. After Brian's message we all headed for the hide and thankfully the Spotted Redshank was still around.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, 20+ Teal, 20 Shelduck, 10 Shoveler, 9 Gadwall, 6 Mallard, 2 Wigeon, 1 Garganey, 18 Avocet, 6 Redshank, 4 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Snipe, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 House Martin, several Swallows. PRD/RJ/BC/MR.
