Tues 23rd April 19

A quick walk to the hide with my grandson this morning showed that there were now at least 5 Whitethroat around the mounds area along with a couple of Lesser Whitethroats.

Pete Davis had earlier had a Common Sandpiper on the outfall between the sluice and the boating club rocks.

From the hide :- 4 Canada Geese, 20+ Shelduck, c20 Teal, 10 BlkWit's, 5 Redshank, 4 Avocet,  2 Snipe, 2 Cuckoo + 3 Bar T Godwits (flew over but didn't land). PRD/CB/DW/MR
Later in the morning 14 Bar T Godwits did drop into the scrape PRD.
