All much the same around the bushes first thing, 2 Brent Geese were sitting on the sea just offshore north of the sluice and a Mute Swan was on the brook behind the sluice

From the hide: 7+ Canada Geese (1 pair with 6 goslings), 1 Greylag, 10+ Shelduck, 10+ Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 16 Avocet, 5 Lapwing, 4 Common Sands, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Redshank, 1 Dunlin, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Moorhen (with 6+ chicks), 3 Grey Heron, 2 Lt. Egret, 1 Cormorant, 3+ Buzzard, plus the usual Warblers etc. PL/MR
