Another lovely day today, quite a lot of song from the normal culprits around the site, and a lot of noisy young starlings in the Dell.
Common Sandpipers increased to 4 on the scrape, the single Lapwing chick was still along the back edge and a family of 8+ Moorhen chicks were new.
From the hide: 6 Canada Geese, 16 Shelduck, 12 Mallard, 17 Avocet, 7 Lapwing, 4 Common Sands, 2 Redshank, 1 Blk T Godwit, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, Blk Headed & Herring Gulls, 2 Med Gulls, 1 Lt. Egret, Cetti's Warbler, Reed & Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Linnets. RJ/MR et.al.
