All the normal culprits were singing around the site this morning but nothing new found, 2 Turnstone were on the rocks below the shelter and 2 Greenfinch in the Dell, the Mute Swan was on the brook behind the sluice as was a Mallard pair with 10+ ducklings

From the hide: 12+ Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 2 Egyptian Geese, 18+ Shelduck (plus 5 ducklings), 8 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck (fly over), 3 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Lt. Egret, 16+ Avocet, 5 Lapwing (+1 chick), 4 Whimbrel, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Sand, 1 Blk T Godwit, 2 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Cetti's Warbler, Linnet, Pied Wag, etc. PL/MR et.al.

13:35 Scrape this morning, little change, 1 Common Sand, 4 Whimbrel, 1 Black-t-Godwit, Ringed Plover, briefly on the island before it flew off. 2 Egyptian Geese still about. Pair of Tufted Duck few over and landed on brook.(MR,MO’H, PL).
