All bar one of the Common Sands seemed to have moved on this morning, 10+ Whimbrel were out on the marsh on a walk to French Pt. and 2 Blk T Godwits had appeared on the scrape on my way back, otherwise much the same.
From the hide: 7 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 10+ Mallard, 7 Shelduck, 20 Avocet (1 colour ringed), 6 Lapwing (still 1 large chick), 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Sand, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Lt. Egret, 2 Cormorant, 2 Moorhen (now 5 chicks), 6 Swallows, Sedge & Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Cetti's Warbler, Linnet, Meadow Pipit, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel.
