Just a very short visit today, back to winter with a cold N/E wind, no sign of the Spoonbills but Common Sands back to three.

From the hide: 7 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 10+ Mallard, 10 Shelduck, 3 Gadwall, 2 Tufted Duck, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Lt. Egret, 20+ Avocet, 5 Lapwing (+1 chick), 4 Redshank, 3 Common Sands, 2 Blk T Godwits, 2 Oystercatcher, Blk headed & Herring Gulls, 2 LBB's, 2 Moorhen (+5 chicks), 1 Water Rail (heard only), plus the usual warblers etc. RJ/MR/PL/et.al.
