A hunt around the bushes for Spot Fly was unsuccessful this morning but quite a few of the residents still in good voice.

Thankfully a Cattle Egret put in an appearance to the right of the hide to brighten up the morning, a cracking bird in breeding plumage, spent some time in with the cows out on the marsh. 


From the hide: 2 Mute Swans, 4 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 34 Shelduck, 12 Gadwall, 4 Teal, 1 Shoveler, 8 Avocet, 6 Lapwing, 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Cattle Egret, 4 Cormorant, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Buzzard, Cetti's Warbler & Reed Warbler.
