Fri 31st May 24
Much the same again today, on a very wet morning. The Common Sand was still at the back of the scrape and a cracking summer plumage Golden Plover dropped in for a couple of minutes before being sent packing by the Lapwings, otherwise numbers as of late. RJ/DC/MR.
Reports from today:
Richard Jeffree
09:12 Fulmar south + Gannets past shelter.
Paul Brayshaw
15:22 Red Kite over marshes road, Great Holland end, about 15 minutes ago as we drove through.
At the end of May the number of species recorded at the Haven this year stands at 148.
