10:25 Spotted Flycatcher  - where bridleway meets golf course, field side of hedge behind club workshop.

17:50 Walk from Frinton to Haven and back via farm this morning included: 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Little Owl (where footpath leaves the golf course), 3 Corn Bunting (singing, 1 along footpath, 1 by east paddock, 1 near manure heap by bridleway), 130+ Starling (two post-breeding flocks, 80+ on flood, 50+ western edge of golf course), 2 Lesser Whitethroat (singing), 9 House Martin, 22 Swallow, 8 Linnet, 6 Cetti’s (singing), 10 Reed Warbler (singing), 3 Reed Bunting (singing), 2 Sedge Warbler (singing), 11 Swift, 4 Teal, 2 Red-legged Partridge, 8 Hare, 1 Cuckoo (singing), 11 Avocet, 2 Shoveler, 10 Gadwall, 1 Grey Heron, 6 Whitethroat (singing), 4 Blackcap (singing), 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Greenfinch, 1 Tufted Duck, 2 Chinese muntjac. (23 species in song).
