Very quiet this morning from the hide absolutely no sign of a Spoonbill, five minutes after I got home I saw Matt's message, just amassing.
From the hide: 2 Mute Swans (also 2 on the brook behind the sluice with 3 cygnets), 4 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 36+ Shelduck, 12 Gadwall, 12 Mallard, 3 Teal, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Shoveler, 10 Avocet, 5 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Redshank, 6 Swallow, Cetti's Warbler. Plus 5 Sanderling were on the beach north of the sluice.

19:54 Spoonbill still present fast asleep on the scrape. Also two Tufted still, Med Gull, hunting Marsh Harrier, Hobby and Barn Owl. Fulmar south offshore.
