Quick visit to the hide this morning, and a big influx of birds was evident from the off, sadly it was 25 Canada Geese and c100 Greylags not quite what we were hoping for.

From the hide:

97 Greylag, 25 Canada geese, 70+ Teal, 1 Shelduck, 8 Cormorants, 2 Grey Heron, 31 Lapwing, 3 Avocet, 3 Ruff, 2 Redshank, 1 Whinchat. MR

16:52 Not sure if Chinese Water Deer is on the Haven list, but female with juv by the pool to the right of the hide this afternoon just before the storm hit! (see Haven Wildlife page)

Also 3 Ruff, 2 Avocet, 1 Common Sandpiper, 6+ Whinchat, 4 Yellow Wagtail.
