08:05 Pied Fly in small wood behind dell, several Willow Warbler, Blackcap, Chiff, Lesser and Common Whitethroat noted already. And 4 Siskin just gone over.

11:27 4 Whinchat by wooden gate/fence far right of scrape.

15:10 With a drop in the wind gave the bushes a look this morning. Started off busy around the dell area with 1 possibly 2 Pied Flys in the copse, 4 Willow Warblers, 2 Chiffs, 5 Blackcap, 2 Whitethroat, 5 Lesser Whitethroat and 4 Siskin over. Bushes everywhere else were relatively quiet with just a few Whitethroat and Lesser Whitethroat added. On the Scrape were 3 Ruff, 1 Snipe, 1 Redshank, 4 Avocet, 2 Dunlin, 1 Med Gull, Kingfisher and 120+ Teal. 4 Whinchat, 1 Wheatear and 3 Stonechat were in the general area of the Wooden Hide.(MR,ML,MT,PL)
At the end of August the number of species recorded at the Haven this year stands at 162
