A stop at the Dipping Pond on the way onto site this morning showed the Pied Flycatcher was still with us, and a return visit just before midday with Ian, Dave & John gave two birds, most likely the two from Sunday still in the same Hawthorn. 

A single Turnstone was on the sluice rocks

1 Mute Swan, 6 Greylags, 50+ Teal, 4 Shelducks, 40+ Lapwing, 6 Avocet, 4 BlkWits, 3 Oystercatcher, 3 Green Sands, 2+ Common Sands, 2 Snipe, 2 Dunlin, 1 Wood Sand, 1 Ruff, 1 Redshank, c200 Blk H Gulls, 1 Juv. Med Gull, 8 Cormorant, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard (a Juv that dropped into the back of the scrape for a paddle and a drink). PRD/BW/JH/MR.
