Another two birds added to the year list today, Siskin & R.B. Merganser from Matt Lonsdale.

07:23 30 Avocet and 22 Snipe on scrape from sea wall.
07:54 Beardie boardwalk.
08:09 Cetti's along brook
09:25 Beardie was a young male for the record. Also male Stonechat  and at least 20 Mipits.
14:02 I had a Chiffchaff in the dell at 6.45am and another singing near the boat club at 8.15.

07:44 Siskin North.
07:59 Mute Swan + another Gannet N in last couple minutes.
08:30 2 drake R.B. Merganser south.

2 R.B. Merganser (s), 13 Gannet (N), G.N. Diver (N), 10+ R.T. Diver (N), Siskin (N), 10+ Chaffinch (N), Mipit (in/off), 8 Carrion Crow (in/off).

11:40 Hide 10.00 Water level much better. Avocets down to only 15 on view. 10 Blackwits  4. Redshank 15 Shovelers 12 Shelduck, 4 Canada Geese, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Black Swan,. 40+ Teal, single figures of Wigeon, 20+ Lapwing, could only find 4 Snipe but we all know I suffer from Snipe Blindness, 4 Gadwall just dropped in 3 Drakes 1 Duck.
