A great day for Matt Lonsdale and Pete Loud with a total of four site year ticks added to the list. These were Woodcock, G.N. Diver, Knot & Black Redstart

07:42 Knot north, sum plum GND distant on sea offshore.

09:21 2 adult Med Gull on sea, Common Scoter close north.
10:32 2 Firecrest in ringing compound and Redwing in hedge by raised platform.

10:32 2 Wheatear wooden Hide. 5 Med Gull scrape. No LRP's

7:15- 13:40 visit.

Sea produced - 1 GND (sum plum, on), 7+ rt diver (N), 3 com scoter (s), 1 curlew (N), 2 mallard + 2 teal (s), 2 mipit in/off.

 

Bushes - Woodcock (N), 2 firecrest (ringing compound), c7 chiffchaff, 2+ redwing, song thrush.
Scrape- 7 redshank, 10 blackwit, 29 avocet, lt egret, Brent goose, 2 med, gbb, 3 lbb, 7+ common gulls, black swan and usuals.
Gc dump+ surrounding- 3 wheatear (2m+ f), 2 stonechat + good no’s of mipit.
Frinton beach huts- black redstart (fem, spending a lot of time feeding underneath beach huts).
A pretty successful morning if I do say so myself 😃. ML/PL
