Tue 17th March 20

I had a couple of hours at the Haven this afternoon, to fill the feeders and get some fresh air, not many people about so able to keep myself isolated. Still a few Chiffchaff's around with one near the sewage works entrance, 2 more near the wind pump with a L.T.Tit flock and 1 heard along the approach road. A single Purple Sandpiper was on the seawall near the sluice.

From the hide : 1 Black Swan, 4 Greylag, 2 Canada Geese, c100 Wigeon, c90 Teal, 30 Shoveler, 13 Shelduck, 1 Gadwall, 21 Avocet, 16 Curlew, 15 Lapwing, 12 Snipe, 9 BlkWits, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Redshank, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Peregrine, 2 Kestrel.
