16:12 : Mid afternoon visit to hide, water level pretty good with plenty of mud exposed. Visibility not best with bright sun on water. First sweep produced   Dunlin at back 1 Adult Med Gull on Leon’s Marsh 10 Blackwits, 3 Redshank, 23 Avocets,

16:35 4 Canada Geese (2  on scrape, 2 on grazing marsh) with 20 Greylag and Black Swan. Duck numbers much reduced no Shovelers seen C 20 Shelduck, Chiffchaff in front of hide. 6 Snipe, c30 Wigeon no Teal observed but some could be tucked away. Have had hide to myself. Stay safe everyone.

18:12 Late pm walk from Frinton along seawall, golf course bridlepath to great Holland and then back to Frinton produced one Chiffchaff in the rape along with a singing Corn Bunting on the edge of the paddocks.
