I Joined Simon and Pete Loud at the Sailing Club Shelter again this morning and as with yesterday's Shearwaters a Leach's Petrel had passed on it's way north just before I arrived, amazingly within a few minutes a second Leach's came from the south and even settled on the sea for a short while before continuing on it's way.
Sea-watch 07:05 - 09:00: 2 Leach's Petrel (n), 51 Brent (9n 42s), 11 Shelduck (s), 5 Teal (s), 3 Common Scoter (s), 3 Gannet (n), 1 Oystercatcher (n), 1 Curlew (s) 2 Common Gulls. SC/PL/IM/MR

On the way back to the car a Kingfisher was on the brook behind the sluice. IM/MR.
