Mon 28th Sept 20

A late start sea-watch this morning turned out to be quite worthwhile with a good number of birds on the move.

Sea-watch 09:15 - 11:00 Gannet 27 (n), Brent Goose 9 (n), Common Scoter 31 (27n 4s), Wigeon 24 (4n 20s), Teal 17 (5n 12s), Red T Diver 4 (s), Gt. Skua 1 (n), Cormorant 2 (n).

A large flock of Long-tailed, Blue & Gt. Tits were in the Dell and held 3 Chiffchaffs, also in the Dell area were Goldfinch, Chaffinch and House Sparrows. 15+ Pied Wagtail, 5+ Meadow Pipit and a large flock of Starling were on the greensward and 2 more Chiffchaff at the Dipping Pond.

Reports from the hide suggested that things were much the same as of late with the exception of the return of the Greylags.

Pete Davis had a flyover Lapland Bunting heading south/west at 11:10
