Very quiet around the site again today, the strong wind made the bushes difficult. On the way to the hide a Little Grebe and a Kingfisher were seen on the corner of the brook near the windpump.
From the hide:
170+ Teal, 6 Shelduck, c40 Lapwing, 6 Dunlin, 3 Ruff, 1 Redshank, 1 Snipe, 3 Whinchat were on the brambles to the right of the hide. Two Kestrels both on kills were on the newly cut marsh and a Peregrine was up on the arable.MR
On the way back a Sandwich Tern was feeding close offshore at the sluice.

19:20 4PM Visit to Scrape Hide revealed nothing new, 4 Dunlin, 2 Common Sandpipers, large flock of mixed gulls inc 1 Juv GBB Gull and 1 LBB Gull, 50+ Teal usual Lapwings (not counted) 5 Cormorants, 1 Grey Heron no Ruff or Redshank observed. Brief stopover of Yellow Wag by pond.
