Wed 23rd Sept 20

A few more birds around the bushes for me this morning with 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and several Blackcaps noted along with the large Tit flock and House Sparrows.

A colour ringed Herring Gull on the sluice rocks, Y:956 was ringed at Harewood Whin landfill site, to the west of York, on 4th Nov 2016 and had not been sighted since it was on the same rocks on the 3rd Oct last year.

Pete Davis had a Caspian Gull on the scrape that unfortunately left just before I arrived.
