Things were a lot quieter round the bushes this morning with a strong north easterly wind making it hard work, still Whitethroats and Lesser Whitethroats singing (a couple of the Lessers were seen), Blackcaps and Chiffs in most areas.
From the hide: 3 Canada Geese, 11 Shelduck, 8 Shoveler, 6 Teal, 5 Gadwall, 4 Mallard, 44 Avocet, 6 Lapwing, 3 Oystercatcher, 3 Redshank, 2 BlkWits, 1 LRP, 1 Snipe, 2 Med Gulls (1 colour ringed), 2 LBB Gulls, Blk Headed & Herring Gulls, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Water Pipit, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk. Also Chinese Water Deer up on the arable. PRD/RJ/MR
