A few more observers around the site this morning but still nothing new around the bushes, Blackcap, Chiffchaff and Whitethroat now in most areas.
From the hide: 2 Canada Geese, 8 Teal, 8 Shoveler, 8 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, 47 Avocet, 10 Lapwing, 4 redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Snipe, 1 Greenshank, Blk Headed & Herring Gulls, 4 Med Gulls, 1 Common Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Cetti's Warbler (showing more often of late).

16:56 First trip round site for a week today, much change, bushes greening up and lots of summer migrants in. At farm paddocks, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 3 Whitethroat, Swallow, Chiffchaff, Green & Great-spotted Woodpecker, Mistle Thrush and several Corn Buntings. Marsh over the road, 2 Whitethroat, Sedge & Cetti’s Warbler. Around the bushes another couple of Whitethroat, Chiffs and Blackcaps. Scrape, Greenshank and all the usual suspects, 2 pairs of Med Gulls, couple of Swallows and a very unusually showy Cetti’s. Pair of Stonechat up by the Golf course dump and another Sedge Warbler.
