Mon 11th Apr 22

No great sign of arrivals this morning, but good numbers of Chiffchaff and Blackcaps were singing around the bushes. Missed out on the Little Gull movement offshore, (wrong place, wrong time) and yesterdays new birds on the scrape had moved on, but it was a nice morning for a walk.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, a few Wigeon & Teal, 8 Shelduck, 8 Shoveler, 3 Gadwall, 39 Avocet, 5 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Cetti's Warbler (heard), + a few Reed Bunting & Linnets. DC/GS/BH/MR.

A walk to the 3rd pillbox added just a few Reed Bunting, Skylark & Linnets DC/MR
